There are many opportunities to contribute to Skokie Central United
Methodist Church and we would not exist without the generous
financial support of our members and friends.
Use the "Donate" links below to contribute. Most credit
cards are accepted. You may also mail checks to the Skokie Central UMC
office – 8237 Kenton Avenue, Skokie, IL 60076 – if you prefer.
And of course, we always pass the collection plate through the
pews during our Sunday worship service!
Your tax deductible contributions will be gratefully appreciated
Skokie Central UMC Operating Budget
By supporting the operating budget, you entrust Skokie Central UMC to use your
gifts to do God’s work. This budget supports
programs (Bible study, youth groups, children’s programs, music, etc.)
as well as our buildings, staff, and so much more!
The Log Cabin
has always been at the heart of Skokie Central UMC, but it was
embraced by an entire community as it began its renovation
journey! Phase One was completed in November 2010. Check our the Log Blog to see the history and details of this
exciting renovation. What’s next? We are currently in
the planning stages for the next Renovation Phase(s). In
addition to completing the interior renovation, it is the congregation’s
goal to make the Log Cabin handicapped accessible from both the
interior and the exterior with a completely new front
Many families have
chosen to honor the memory of a loved one by giving to Skokie Central UMC’s
Memorial Fund in their loved one's name. These lasting
tributes have allowed us to commemorate a loved one in a variety
of special ways. Some of our previous gifts have gone
towards the purchase of our new organ, the beautiful stained
glass windows, the elevator, the handicapped accessible doors,
hymnals, choral chimes, and the planting of new trees.
Our Memorial Committee can work with you on how to utilize the
gifts. You may also choose to put memorial gifts into the
operating budget to support our many programs and
